Delcam CRISPIN ShoeMirror – Virtual Shoe Fitting

What is the ShoeMirror?

Delcam Crispin’s ShoeMirror provides an exciting new way of visualising footwear designs. Our solution simulates a real mirror allowing users to try on any piece of footwear in a virtual catalogue by seeing the footwear projected onto their feet.

Navigate through the ShoeMirror interface using hand gestures via its precise motion-tracking system. With a design selected, the hi-tech software will register a foot’s movement and rotation adjusting the orientation of the digital shoe. This allows you to view yourself actually wearing your digital footwear designs from every angle.

How do i set it up?

In order to allow each customer to package the system in their own custom, branded housing, Delcam has provided a comprehensive equipment list to be purchased alongside the ShoeMirror software. This list includes the hardware required as well as recommended measurements for the solution’s setup. ShoeMirror’s straightforward calibration process allows it to be assembled and configured with ease.

How does it work?

ShoeMirror has fluid integration with Delcam CRISPIN ShoeMaker – an easy-to-use modeller for designing footwear – to allow you to create your own virtual footwear catalogues easily. It is also possible to create the catalogue from files generated from using other CAD systems or directly from scans of existing shoes.

All of this helps to make ShoeMirror the perfect exhibition attraction, as well as an invaluable research and development tool.
